Emotional Support Animals can provide meaningful comfort and therapeutic benefit for individuals living with mental health conditions. I provide ESA documentation for qualifying patients who are established in my care.
ESA Letter Policy
ESA letters are provided only after a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and established therapeutic relationship. This ensures that the recommendation is clinically appropriate and based on a thorough understanding of your mental health needs. ESA letters are not available at initial visits or for patients without an established care relationship.
Qualifying Conditions
ESA letters may be appropriate for patients with conditions such as anxiety disorders, depression, PTSD, and other mental health diagnoses where an emotional support animal would provide meaningful therapeutic benefit as part of a comprehensive treatment plan.
What's Included
An ESA letter is a formal document on practice letterhead confirming that you are under my care and that an emotional support animal is part of your treatment plan. The letter meets standard requirements for housing accommodations under the Fair Housing Act.
